OUR VISION

Together, we’re becoming the faithful presence of Christ in Colorado Springs.

Four Marks
of Faithful Presence

GATHER
Empowered Community

God is a community made up of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who are completely unified, loving, and honoring to each other. We were created in God's likeness, but our sin caused a separation. Jesus came to reconcile people from all backgrounds and unite them with God and each other, creating a family that both experiences and shows love in the world. We gather together in community with God and one another to be formed as a diverse, Spirit-filled family shaped by the fullness of Jesus.

John 1:12, Ephesians 2:11-22, Ephesians 4:1-16, 1 Thessalonians 2:8, Hebrews 10:24-25

GROW
Gospel Transformation

God loves us. He is amazing, pure, kind, and good. We are created to be like Him, but sin makes us reflect the world instead. God wants to bring us back to who we were meant to be through His Son, Jesus Christ. When we embrace the Gospel and walk with Jesus, God transforms us into whole, healthy individuals, making us more like Jesus through His Holy Spirit. We grow together as we are rooted in the way, truth, and life of Jesus so that we mature in faith and grow fruit-bearing his likeness and character.

John 15:1-11, Romans 12:2, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 2:8-10, Ephesians 3:16-19, Colossians 2:6-7

GIVE
Joyful Generosity

God is gracious and generous, welcoming all to find joy in his presence. We are created to be like God, but sin makes us selfish. God wants to make us like Him again: humble, giving, and generous. When we serve, we follow the example of Jesus, who came as a servant King to rescue the world. Giving together means we want others to become followers of Jesus who show love by being bold, welcoming, and helpful. We give together as we become aware of the time, talents, and treasures he has given us and joyfully give to others from what God gives us.

Mark 10:45, Proverbs 3:9, Acts 20:35, Romans 12:13, 2 Corinthians 9:6-15, Ephesians 2:10

GO
Sacrificial Mission

God is a blessing God, an outward-looking God, and a sending God. We are created to be like God, but we often become selfish and stagnant. We like to keep good things to ourselves instead of sharing them. But God wants to help us return to a life where we partner with Him in His work in the world. The Holy Spirit empowers us to share our daily lives with those around us, so they can truly experience and know Jesus. We go together as a community sent out in all of life to embody the love of Jesus and make Him known—in our neighborhoods, our city, and throughout the world.

Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, 2 Corinthians 5:18-20, Ephesians 5:1-2, 2 Timothy 2:2

What We Believe

We belong to a global movement called The Christian & Missionary Alliance.

The Alliance was birthed in 1881 when Pastor A. B. Simpson organized a small group of believers devoted to experiencing Jesus in His fullness and making Him known to New York City’s marginalized dock workers. Today, we continue to carry out our All of Jesus for All the World vision by caring for suffering and overlooked people through 2,000 U.S. churches and more than 700 international workers serving in 70 countries.
